Homemade hair masks

Hair masks are a must for every girl. I like to pamper my hair with a hair mask once a week, it helps to moisturize my hair and improve its condition. There are lots of hair masks that you can buy in stores. But I prefer homemade hair masks made from natural ingredients (not chemicals). And it's a lot of fun making them yourself. Here are some recipes that I use:

Olive oil hair mask:
Mix four or five tablespoons of olive oil with two eggs. Massage gently into your hair and leave for 15-20 minutes. Then shampoo your hair, rinsing it well. (Rinse it with warm water, not hot if you don't want scrambled eggs in your hair).

Banana hair mask:
Take one banana, mash it up in a bowl and add 2 teaspoons of honey. Mix it well and massage into your hair. Leave it for 20 min. Then shampoo your hair.

Yogurt hair mask:
Take one cup of yogurt and add one egg, mix it well and rub this mixture into your hair. It's a little runny so it's better to do it in the shower. Cover your hair with a shower hat. Leave for about 30 min and then shampoo your hair, rinsing it with warm water.

Milk hair mask:
Take half a cup of milk and add two teaspoons of honey. Mix it well and apply to your hair. This hair mask is very runny, so it's better to do it in the shower. Leave for 20-25 minutes. Wash it out with shampoo.

Strawberry hair mask:
Take 8 big strawberries, mash them up in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Massage it into your hair, cover it with a shower cap and leave for 20 minutes. Then shampoo your hair.

Please, keep in mind that all these recipes are mainly for dry hair. I will write about hair masks for oily hair in a different blog post.  I hope this post was helpful! Have a great day everyone! Blessings!
