Home sweet home

The dark winter days can be a bummer, but one of my favorite parts of the holidays is decorating our little fireplace. This weekend, we put up a garland, along with a grazing brass deer. Even though the fireplace doesn't actually work, the room already feels much cozier.

Swedish island wedding

Speaking of weddings, Once Wed just featured the simplest and sweetest wedding I've ever seen...
Johan and MeeSook tied the knot on a Swedish island overlooking a lighthouse and the sea.
They exchanged rings and a kiss. MeeSook's absolutely beautiful dress is from Saja Bridal. Don't you love how it flows in the breeze?
Next, confetti and Champagne!
The guests also looked amazing, including the bride's sister in a dyed silk dress and a baby in a flower cap.
Then the couple waved goodbye to everyone...
And lived happily ever after. xo

Ostatnio nadszedł moment, którego się obawiałam - powoli nudzą mi się wszechobecne czernie i szarości (które stanowią chyba 3/4 mojej szafy) i rozpaczliwie szukam czegoś nowego. Nietrudno się domyśleć, że po przejrzeniu najnowszych kolekcji (m.in. Jonathon Saunders, Erin Fetherston, Ruffian)na pierwszy ogień poszła czerwień i bordo. Oczywiście w zestawieniu z czarno-szarą spódniczką, którą kupiłam bardzo dawno i znalazłam podczas porządków w szafie. Na futrzany szaliczek również natrafiłam przez przypadek i teraz jest jednym z moich ulubionych dodatków.

Pogoda chyba jeszcze nigdy nie była gorsza. Marazm ogarnął wszystkie dziedziny życia, a więc i garderobę. Jest więc najprościej jak może być, aczkolwiek w kolorze, który przeżywa swój wielki come back. Jak zresztą wszelkiego rodzaju koszule-flanelowe, bawełniane, w kratę, w kwiaty, jasne, lniane i to najlepiej w najprostszej formie - z którymi ostatnio się nie rozstaję ;) No i moje aktualnie ulubione buty, które w końcu udało mi się rozchodzić ;p
PS. Pewnie zauważyliście różnicę w jakości zdjęć - to zasługa Kamili i jej nowego obiektywu :*

Happy Thanksgiving, my lovelies! Where will you be spending the holiday? Alex and I will be going to our friends' house in Brooklyn, where we plan to eat lots of cheese, sit by the fire and play gin rummy.
